Minimum Age:
16 years old to operate (under 18 must have a guardian’s consent).
Valid ID: Bring a driver’s license or similar government-issued photo ID for verification.
Boater Education: Individuals born on or after January 1, 1986, need a valid Arkansas Boating Education certificate or approved equivalent. Must show verification at check-in (Bring the certificate with you).
Passenger Age:
- Arkansas law does not specify a minimum age for passengers on a jet ski; however, it requires that all passengers must be able to sit properly on the seat and wear a U.S. Coast Guard–approved life jacket.
- The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission recommends children be old enough to hold on securely, follow safety instructions, and maintain proper balance.
